Elizabeth walked across the large boat that served as camp and climbed to the higher part of the deck. She curled her grey tail around her body as she looked over the currently silent camp. She turned her gaze to the horizon where the sun was just beginning to make it's appearance, turning the clouds a light pink. She smiled slightly to herself as she waited quietly for the Pirates to awaken.

Shadow quickly arose stretching and giving a faint meow, so he would not wake the others. Shadow jumped down from his resting spot and stretched again, a little queasy. As shadow walked up the stairs he was thinking about how he was always a early riser and thinking how he might be the first one up.

After realizing he was now the first one up he be came disappointed but then thought that since Elizabeth was captain she would definitely be up first. Shadow stood at the end of the boat looking out to the sun rise.

well, not for long. mariana leaped to her paws and darted away from her nest, grinning. "aye! how is everyone this fine mornin'?" the cheery kitten asked, grnning.
